Trade Terms & Conditions

All furniture is made to order  (pre order) and our lead time is approximately 10-12 weeks (except in-stock items. ) If your order is custom made this can take anywhere from 12-16 weeks to be made depending on how busy our warehouse is. Shipping is then also take into account.

Pre-order items are not yet in our warehouse and the dates presented for those products are estimates only and are subject to change as we encounter delays. We can not predict port congestions and weather delays nor can we predict how busy our warehouse and makers can be which can delay orders from time to time. We are not liable for any container delays.


Custom Furniture orders may be changed or cancelled in writing within 14 days of purchase however a cancellation fee of 20% will apply.


We can ship globally and the shipping is made payable by the customer (if global only) as per our freight costs or they can arrange their own shipping and advise Troffle accordingly of the details. As we have relationships with out cargo carriers its best and most reliable to contact us for your shipping quote.

All prices are listed in AUD and we reserve the right to change the pricing at any time without any notice

Placing an order

All product specifications, terms and conditions, including product information, should be read and understood by client before proceeding.
A welcome email will be sent with confirmation of your order.
Delivery details will be sent separately.

Lead Times

Lead time for all furniture not in stock will vary ( 10-12  weeks) depending on the order (except in-stock items ) which is available at the time of purchase. With specific custom orders this can sometimes take us a little longer to complete because we prioritise perfecting the craftsmanship and ensuring every piece meets your exact specifications.

Payment

Total amount of all online orders and direct orders is due upon the placement of your order.
If your order is for a commercial project of a large scale order we require 60% upfront deposit and 40% on completion pre shipment. The client is responsible for the shipping fee to their destination which Troffle can arrange quotations. Please note, deposits are non-refundable on custom orders.

Delivery

All items will be inspected by our team before departure and upon on arrival, we ask that you do the same. any damage or defects considered to have already been present must be notified to Troffle within 24 hours of being received.

Returns

Please choose carefully as we do not accept returns.
All products are handmade, one piece at a time, using natural materials. you may find irregularities, colour variance and imperfections in our products. Minor splits can or may occur in teak when the wood shrinks as it dries and should not be considered as a flaw and we do not accept returns for these reasons however this does not happen all the time.

Warranty

We do not provide warranties on any of our products. our pieces are handmade by our artisans and built to last. they may have slight flaws, cracks or imperfections which give them a unique character as no one piece will be identically the same, this is not to be considered a flaw. the buyer acknowledges that our products are made of natural materials which responds to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting, which may result in cracking and splitting - this is a natural process and is not deemed defective in such instances.
