Warranty
Troffle offers a 12-month warranty ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship in compliance with Australian consumer law. Customers may need to furnish evidence, such as photographs, to support their warranty claim. Upon authorization, Troffle will, at its discretion, either replace or repair the defect.The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage resulting from delivery services, abnormal, use or abuse, products lacking maintenance, or those that have been altered. Additionally, any indirect or consequential loss is not included in the warranty. Minor discrepancies in advertised size, color, or appearance are not within the scope of this warranty.
Troffle range of products can have imperfections in the timber, hide or leather which is part of the natural variation of materials as they are handmade.The surface of natural & handmade products is crafted to embrace the natural differences in each piece. This is not considered a fault.
The buyer acknowledges that our products are made of natural materials which responds to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting, which may result in cracking and splitting - this is a natural process and is not deemed defective in such instances.
Furniture Care
Teak and Timber Furniture.
To prolong the surface of the timber please do not leave spills to sit on surfaces. Avoid contact with heat, liquid, and take care when placing abrasive objects on the timber. Direct and reflective sunlight will affect all timber as it ages beautifully in its own special way.
Teak is a naturally oily and dense wood and our furniture is not sealed or stained but is treated. If you wish to keep the natural golden colour of our teak pieces we suggest using Semco Cleartone Teak Sealer which does not change the colour or texture of the wood but give an added layer of light protection that can be reapplied seasonally.
While teak is a fantastic timber for outdoors and undercover only, note that mildew and dirt accumulation can occur, especially in particularly humid & wet conditions if left outdoors and becomes wet. if you wish to leave our furniture outdoors but only undercover as we recommend please use vinegar and water mixed to clean, and if being left outdoors sealed with a teak sealer such as Semco Teak Sealer - Cleartone to protect against mildew & discolouration.
